We’ve been so swamped with senior portrait, wedding and family shoots that finally have a chance to properly showcase Lauren’s session from July! Her bright red Chuck Taylor All-Stars were the perfect compliment to outfits both casual and dressy.
With pals Andrew and Stephanie in tow we even managed to coax Lauren onto the precarious limb that overlooks the Rouge River. Everyone got soaked, but it was well worth the effort to capture some truly dramatic (and memorable) images.
White Barn
We love using this little white barn for senior portraits. The planks of wood create a nice rustic feel, while the white paint helps to isolate Lauren’s colorful outfit.
White Barn: Setup Shot
And here’s Stephanie, Andrew and Mom assisting with lighting and wardrobe for the barn shot. Lots of Gatorade and water on-hand due to the 90-plus degree weather!
Soaked
Andrew (whom we shot two years ago) and Stephanie (one of our upcoming 2011 seniors) prove to Lauren that falling in the river isn’t much to worry about.
Drama
Of course we wrap-up the session with a couple dramatic portraits.
