Chelsey and the Setting Sun

It was hard to believe that a year had already passed since we last worked with the Gleason Family, taking Bre’s pictures. Our session began promptly at the Gleason household where a definite air of excitement and anxiety filled the air. Chelsey was eagerly looking forward to her photo session, meanwhile Bre was getting ready for life at Central Michigan University packing up her remaining essentials.

After some family pics in the backyard we headed to mill race park and captured some breath taking images of Chelsey against the trademark bridge and lake. Despite the torrent of mosquitoes that plagued late summer in Michigan, Chelsey braved the tall grasses and cat tails in fields of Hines Park for some gorgeous images in a vintage western style outfit. We loved the way the setting sun created contrasting colors against Chelsey’s outfits.
