The U of M Botanical Gardens provided the perfect landscape to capture Logan's vision for her photo session. And, the thick tree coverage provided much needed shade from the stifling heat wave. To wrap up the morning on a perfect note, Logan entertained us with her skills on her grand piano. Enjoy.

Football player with arms folded against the blue sky

Although it was a slightly brisk fall morning, the sky and colors of the sun couldn't have worked out better. And, as evidenced in the first image, Jordan stood tall and proud fully decked in a classic black suit, silver polka dot tie and pocket square. As we shifted to something more casual, Jordan again brought ...

student with dress shirt and tie undone in downtown ann arbor

Congratulations to Josh and the first 4-year graduating class in Skyline's history. We really enjoyed capturing Josh's careful blend of casual dress and athleticism throughout the streets of downtown Ann Arbor.

Jumping High School Graduate

15 degrees and windy — it must be Springtime in Michigan! We were bundled up head-to-toe while Sara was “springing” barefoot throughout the streets of downtown Ann Arbor. Here’s to warmer weather and winding down our Class of 2011 graduates. We’ve got a few last-minute additions before we start on 2012. Time flies!

Male Model Portrait

A quick peek at some portfolio/lookbook work for Grant; a client we met at one of last year’s weddings. Although the February sun was giving hints of Spring, we practically froze ourselves half-to-death in the windy Winter conditions… Alas, the frigid conditions didn’t stop all the girls on the busy streets of Ann Arbor from ...

Summer Time in February

girl swinging on lamp post

Despite the torrential downpour of almost six whole inches of snow and cancellation of school I had some available time to catch up on our Graduate work from this season. Nicole wanted a blend of cityscape, nature and action shots playing her favorite 80's hits on guitar. That being said, there is no better place ...

taking photos in a busy intersection

We post a lot of photos in our online galleries and blog entries. From kids knee-deep in water and roaming the busy streets of Ann Arbor to our showcase of varsity athletes in their game-ready gear. But we’ve always struggled with the best way to present all the thinking, planning, hard work and fun that ...

Emotional Therapy

No, Team Kebs hasn’t been hibernating for the season. We’ve been working hard on a whole heap of new things for 2011, breaking our New Year’s Resolutions (already) and shooting some of the best stuff of our careers. So, in lieu of a “Best of” recap for the year, here’s what we’ve been up to ...

high school graduate photo at Nickels Arcade, Ann Arbor

Hemingway wrote, “You make your own luck…” And we certainly “lucked” our way into a amazing session with Kat. Our connection was made through some oddball pics we shot for our favorite custom screen-printing crew: VG Kids. Kat loved our approach and tracked us down to shoot her senior portrait — perfect! We mapped out a ...
