Although the “spring” weather appears warm, the temperature was actually 30 degrees and unusually windy. There’s a tiny patch of over-grown grass, on the edge of Cass Benton’s recreation area, that allows us to “escape” the suburbs. This wide-open field of wildflowers and tall grasses allows us to create a pastoral composition among the modern hustle-and-bustle of Southeastern Michigan.
